One or more players that you recently reported were convicted что значит
So when I open up CS GO I got this notification box saying
«One ore more players that you recently reported were convicted and permanently banned from official CS:GO servers. Thank you for helping the CS:GO community»
Just thought that was pretty cool, it´s A nice touch don´t you think?
Anyways just wanted to thank the overwathcers, VAC and Valve staff for making a difference by trying to keep the game cheater free.
Im just sad that a guy reported that got 16 MVP stars and only headshoots in the entire game hasnt been banned yet.

Must’ve been legit 😛
Game of that person’s life.

I thought they said you would get bonus xp if someone was convicted that you reported? Have had a few and never get anything?

Are you an overwatcher?
This is how the overwatch system works.
You don’t get bonus XP. Your «credit level» goes up. People that you convict of cheating or griefing in the future will be more likely to be overwatch banned.
Think of a cheater/griefer’s likelyhood to be banned as a bar that must reach a certain point to drop the ban hammer on him. Each overwatch conviction gets him closer to that ban hammer. Because you have more correct reports/convictions, your verdict has more weight, therefore getting that person to the ban hammer faster.
Hope that wasn’t too confusing 😛

So I got this message:
One or more members of your recent competitive parties were convinced of cheating and permanently banned from CS:GO servers. All their associates, including you have been penalized. Your CS:GO Profile rank, competitive wins and skill group were adjusted.
I went to my past games to see who it was that was cheating out of curiosity. Out of every game it showed (It showed the past 7 or 8 I think) I only played with one friend, he doesn’t have a vac. I went to steamrep.com and all of my friends with vacs are hundreds of days old or I’ve never played with and have added for trading. So they had to have unfriended me. I looked at all the names of people in my past games and don’t remember any of them being my friends. Is there a way to see who it was?
It can be a «friend of friend» or a «friend of friend of friend» or a «friend of friend of friend of friend».
Good luck finding the one that got banned.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
This message is pretty new.
Should be just a warning, thats it.
1. Griefing ban = 30days cooldown
2. Griefing ban = permanent overwatch ban.
This is not depending on the amount of reports just like this warning message is.

so that mean’s is that just a warning ? no ban no anything?
Depending if you’re griefing or not! So it’s depending on yourself!
I suggest you to queue with friends!

ooo really maybe old update cuz i saw someone got competitive cooldown for 7D for greifing so i think its warning then 7D ban cuz of new update ?
The next one WILL BE permanent.
II) Overwatch bans:
1.Minorly disruptive (griefing): Around 30 days/1 month.
Second griefing ban: Permanent.
2. Majorly disruptive (cheating -aim/wall/other external hacks): Permanent.
Major Convictions are also issued to accounts that receive a second conviction for griefing. (info)

It is a warning ignore him he’s misinformed. Man is obsessed with steam forums and cannot comprehend basic English alongside with keeping up with new updates.
