Overview

Ejection occurs when the voting period in an emergency meeting is over; the player with the most votes will be ejected. With Confirm Ejects enabled, the game will display the player and whether or not they were The/An Impostor, along with how many Impostors remain with the format,

was (not) The/An Impostor. 0/1/2/3 Impostor(s) remain(s).«

If Confirm Ejects are toggled off in the game’s options, the game will state «

was ejected.» with no information about their in-game role or how many Impostors remain. If either the highest number of votes are to skip the vote, there is a tie in the voting, or no one voted, no one will be ejected, and the message appears as «No one was ejected. (Skipped/Tie)«, along with how many Impostors remain if Confirm Ejects are enabled.

A tie can also occur between a player and the skip option. Once a player is ejected, they are considered dead. Similar to players who were killed, they are still allowed to roam the map as a ghost. Their pets will stay near the spawn point, except on The Airship, in which case they remain where they were at the time of the emergency meeting that lead to their owner’s ejection, and will act as if their owner was killed there.

Additionally, when a player is ejected, their clothing may have visual changes. For instance, the doctor skin would be more spread out than usual.

Reveals Imposter Status On Death

The «Ejected» setting in Among Us has one main function which dramatically alters the course of any given match. It determines if the true affiliation of a player is shown after they are voted out (ejected). If Confirm Ejects is enabled, you will see if the person you just threw out into space was actually an Imposter or not. It also shows you how many Imposters remain (if you’re playing with 2 or more).

Setting Can Be Changed By The Host

The only player who can turn this on or off is the host of the match. You can see what the host has chosen either by looking at the upper left part of the screen or by accessing the computer during the pre-match phase.

In general, we think that games with Confirm Ejects off are more fun and engaging. The suspense of who was truly the Imposter persists until the absolute last moment, making plot twists even more explosive. That being said, if you’re playing mainly with random people online, ON might be better.

If you get stuck in a group with players who are new to the game, you’ll be at a huge disadvantage with Ejects turned off.

Создание комнаты

Тут всё предельно просто. Нам необходимо выбрать одну из трёх карт, количество предателей, язык чата и максимальное количество игроков. Минимальный порог для параметра максимального количества игроков может меняться из-за количества предателей. Если у нас 1 предатель, то можно играть вчетвером, для двух предателей уже минимумом будет 7 игроков, а для трёх предателей — 9. Когда Вы выбрали все нужные параметры, то жмём кнопку Подтвердить и переходим ко второму пункту

Настройка комнаты

Тут уже более интересный момент. Лобби изначально является приватным, чтобы можно было всё спокойно настроить и потом только открыть доступ для всех игроков, или же просто скинуть код комнаты друзьям и ждать, когда они зайдут.

Меню настроек, которое доступно только создателю комнаты

Настройка игры производится в меню, которое показано выше. Чтобы получить доступ к этому меню, необходимо использовать ноутбук, который стоит на ящике, и в нём уже открыть пятую вкладку Игра. Изначально там будет стоять галочка Рекомендованные настройки, которую можно спокойно убрать и уже самостоятельно настроить всё. Перейдём к разбору каждого пункта:

Пользовательские настройки игры

Карту и количество предателей мы выбрали ещё на этапе создания комнаты, поэтому их нельзя поменять.

1. Карта — локация, которая была выбрана на этапе создания комнаты
2. Количество предателей — то количество предателей, которое было выбрано на этапе создания комнаты
3. Confirm Ejects (подтверждение выброса) — если опция включена, то игра будет указывать, был ли выброшенный игрок предателем или нет. Пример: Игрок1 не был предателем и Игрок2 оказался предателем. Если выключена, то просто будет писать, что игрок был выброшен, без уточнения его роли. Пример: Игрок1 was ejected.
4. Количество Экстренных собраний — от 0 до 9. Количество собраний, которое может использовать каждый игрок за матч. Если стоит одно экстренное собрание, то каждый игрок сможет лишь один раз нажать кнопку Экстренного собрания и так далее
5. Перерыв между собраниями — так называемый откат собрания. Базовое значение — 15 секунд. Когда заканчивается предыдущее собрание, то для нажатия кнопки необходимо подождать 15 секунд, только тогда можно будет нажать кнопку, чтобы всех вызвать
6. Время на обсуждение — время, которое даётся для высказывания своего мнения в чате. Голосовать нельзя, пока идёт обсуждение
7. Время на голосование — время, которое даётся для выбора подозреваемого игрока или же отдаётся голос за пропуск голосования
8. Скорость игрока — скорость, с которой будут двигаться все игроки
9. Дальность обзора членов экипажа — радиус обзора членов экипажа
10. Дальность обзора предателя — радиус обзора предателя. Рекомендуется делать больше, чем у членов экипажа
11. Перезарядка убийства — откат убийства. Предателю придётся ждать какое-то время, прежде чем он сможет убить очередного члена экипажа. Не рекомендуется делать слишком маленькое время, дабы избежать того, что предатель сможет очень быстро вырезать весь экипаж
12. Дистанция убийств — дистанция, на которой предатель сможет совершить убийство
13. Visual Tasks (визуальные эффекты задач) — некоторые задачи членов экипажа имеют анимацию, которую могут увидеть другие игроки. Если данная опция включена, то Вы сможете снять с себя всё подозрения, если, к примеру, сделаете сканирование в медицинской комнате и это увидят другие игроки. Если опция выключена, то никто не будет видеть анимации ваших задач, кроме Вас
14. Количество обычных заданий — количество заданий, которые требуют небольшого количества времени, чтобы их выполнить

Теперь же, когда мы разобрали все пункты настроек, можно смело переводить комнату из режима PRIVATE в PUBLIC. Пока количество игроков горит красным цветом, кнопка START не будет загораться. Как только наберётся нужное количество игроков, оно загорится жёлтым цветом и кнопка START станет активной1 из 2

Совет по Confirm Ejects. Если у Вас в комнате 2 или 3 предателя, то рекомендую выключить данную опцию, дабы сделать игру более интересной и сложной.

Опять же, если 2 или 3 предателя, то необходимо снизить количество задач и увеличить время перезарядки убийства
