Как читать инструкции на БАДах с Айхерб

Сегодня поговорим о вообщем то банальной вещи, о чтении этикеток на банках зарубежных БАДов. Расскажем как определить рекомендуемую производителем дозировку:

1. сколько капсул пить
2. сколько активных веществ в каждой капсуле,
3. сколько активных веществ в каждой рекомендованной дозировке
4. на сколько хватит банки
5. сколько стоит суточный/месячный прием БАДа

Для российских покупателей, привыкших к инструкции в виде “принимать по 1 таблетки 3 раза в день”, и покупающих банку БАДа на iherb.com впервые этикетка вида

может вызвать затруднение. Вот с этим затруднением сегодня и будем бороться. Чтобы было понятнее и без лишней воды возьмем конкретные примеры. Формулировки мы будем писать на английском, не смотря на то что большинство описаний на айхербе написаны на нормальном русском языке, потому что на банках бадов инструкции все же на английском.

Сколько активных веществ в каждой капсуле

Возьмем популярный мультивитаминный комплекс Optimum Nutrition, Opti-Women 120 капсул . На этикетке написано

Serving Size: 2 Capsule (Размер порции 2 Капсулы) и дальше таблица с заголовком одной из колонок Amount Per Serving (количество на порцию) — это означает что дозировки веществ указана на 2 капсулы! Не на одну как думают начинающие покупатели.

То есть в данном примере Витамин С (в виде аскорбиновой кислоты) 250 мг на порцию означает 250 мг на 2 капсулы, а в одной капсуле витамина С соответственно 125 мг . То есть в 2 капсулах витамина С 417% дневной нормы, а в одной капсуле 208,5%.

Сколько капсул в банке, на сколько банки хватит

Возьмем Солгаровский комплекс для ногтей и волос . В заголовке мы видим написано 120 таблеток, а в таблице Порций в контейнере: 60 . Почему?

Потому что размер 1 порции 2 таблетки. Таким образом в контейнере действительно будет 120 таблеток, рекомендованная дозировка на однократный прием 2 таблетки и банки вам хватит на 60 приемов. Если следовать рекомендациям, то есть 1 порцию в 2 таблетки 1 раз в день, то банки вам хватит примерно на 2 месяца.

Как посчитать какой бад выгоднее

В случае с бадами при выборе бада нужно в первую очередь ориентироваться на производителя бада, на его репутацию на рынке, отзывы покупателей и рекомендации лечащего врача и регулирующих медицинских организаций. Однако если говорить только про деньги, про выбор наиболее выгодного с бада с точки зрения количество активного вещества на рубль, то расчет строится следующим образом:

1. рассчитываем стоимость 1 капсулы,
2. рассчитываем количество вещества в одной капсуле,
3. рассчитываем стоимость 1 единицы измерения вещества (мг, мл, МЕ на рубль)
4. делаем такие расчеты для каждого бада-кандидата и сравниваем,

Вернемся к тем же витаминам.

1 капсула Opti-Women , при цене банки на 120 капсул 1322 рубля, нам обойдется в 11 рублей. Как мы выяснили выше, в одной капсуле этих мультивитаминов будет 125 мг Витамина С. Таким образом 1 мг аскорбиновой кислоты будет стоит 8,8 копеек .

Сравним Opti-Women c чистыми Витамином С от California Gold Nutrition, Gold C, Витамин C, 1 000 мг, 60 вегетарианских капсул стоимостью 395 рублей. Одна капсула получается стоимостью 6,58 рублей. Таким образом 1 мг той же самой аскорбиновой кислоты вам обойдется в 0,65 копейки.

Стоимость различается более чем в 13 раз . Колоссальная разница, не правда ли?

Однако!

Однако необходимо не забывать о фасовке . В некоторых случаях выгоднее взять БАД с пусть более дорогой стоимостью 1 единицы вещества, но с более мелкой фасовкой, чтобы стоимость курса была в итоге ниже. В случае с витаминами выше разделить 1 капсулу California Gold Nutrition, Gold C, Витамин C, 1 000 мг, на 10-13 частей будет очень нелегко, скорее всего вы будете употреблять эту капсулу целиком, лишний витамин С будет смываться в унитаз с мочой и выгоды вы не почувствуете.

Также не стоит забывать что одно и тоже вещество может выпускаться в разных химических формах (например Л-Карнитин цитрат, фумарат, аргината дигидрохлорид), эти формы могут сильно отличаться как “полезностью” (например липосомальный витамин С значительно лучше усваивается) так и ценой и описанное выше сравнение в лоб порой может быть некорректно

Что в итоге

В итоге нужно научиться читать этикетки и анализировать состав, форму и фасовку. Это не только сильно сэкономит ваши деньги, но и увеличит шанс на получение того положительного эффекта, которого вы ждете покупая и принимая очередной бад.
