Эта статья должна быть полезна новым игрокам, но и ветеранам доты стоит вспомнить как работает механика. Все игроки знают, что в доте существует три типа урона:

Но помимо этих типов урона существует 2 разных класса героев отличаемые двумя разными типами нанесения урона.

БУРСТ КЛАСС

Первый класс — это бурст герои. Бурст герои — герои, которые должны нанести урон для убийства персонажа за короткий срок или прокаст, то есть такие персонажи как Lion, Clinkz, Tiny, они имеют способности, используя или получая которые они на короткий срок получают большой прирост к урону. Со временем DPS таких персонажей падает, ведь способности, которые дают большой прирост урона перестают работать. Играя за такого персонажа вы должны точно рассчитать урон в точности до десятка, посмотрите броню персонажа, его физический и магический резист, предметы, которые могу помешать вам убить его (такие как Еул, BKB, Ghost и т.п.) и обязательно посмотрите на наличие вражеский персонажей на карте, наличие у них телепортов, любой из них может совершить тп чтобы спасти своего союзника или уже бежать на ганг.

ТУННЕЛЬНЫЙ УРОН

К Бурст героям часто относят персонажей, которые в большинстве случаев не смогут добить противника, если отдали всё, но персонаж не умер в отличии от туннельных персонажей. Эти персонажи рассчитаны на долгую драку, такие как Slark, Huskar, bristleback, Doom и т.д.

То, на что вы должны обратить внимание играя за туннельного персонажа это урон противника, не убьет ли он вас до того, как вы наберете свое преимущество для которого вам потребуется, к примеру, 3 секунды. Что он успеет сделать за 3 секунды?! Вы должны понять когда вам лучше напасть на противника, стоит ли разводить на использование станов или лучше выждать момент. Старайтесь очень трепетно относится к мобильным персонажам, многие туннельные герои не могут догнать свою жертву, если это очень мобильный персонаж с хорошим эскейпом.

Но не забывайте, что в таких вещах всегда есть исключения и разногласия, например Ursa можно отнести к классу туннельных персонажей, но в частности после окончания второй способности персонаж мало что может сделать с убегающей жертвой и его можно отнести к числу бурстовых героев.

Врыв урона — проще говоря резкий вброс большого количества дамага. Например дагон.

моментальный урон, типа ульта лиона или лины. быстрое нанесение дамага. у веномансера и вайпера не бёрст

возможность влить очень много урона за маленький промежуток времени.
например у бристла нет бурста, а у лины есть

Лол, не обязательно моментальный. Ульт ская тоже бруст-дамаг. Даже если в течение двух-трех секунд наносится огромный урон, это всё равно бёрст.

Такой урон подразумевает под собой невозможность нанесения урона после прокаста (ну или нанесение очень маленького урона). Кстати, ульт вайпера/веномансера тоже наносит много урона за короткий промежуток времени. Другое дело, что это чувствуется только в ранней и мидовой игре.

Refers to high amount of damage dealt over a short period of time.

Burst damage

Burst damage is a term used to describe dealing high amounts of damage in a very short period of time. Spells which qualify for burst damage are often mana inefficient. Burst damage may refer to a short period of focused damage dealing, or simply a quick flurry of powerful attacks. Burst damage may also refer to some PvE encounters in which a boss will inflict a lot of damage in a short time.

Burst damage can be achieved in a number of ways: using powerful but inefficient spells or abilities rather than a more sustainable rotation to maximise damage output; blowing powerful cooldowns to increase damage dealt for a short period; or using procs, stacks of buffs/debuffs and secondary resources to provide substantial temporary bonuses to damage dealt. Numerous abilities have synergies rewarding their use in combination with other attacks, making them perfect for dealing quick bursts of damage.

Maximum burst damage output is often achieved by combining all possible sources of burst, such as by using several damage-enhancing cooldowns all at once. Combined, these effects often produce a remarkable — if temporary — increase in damage output. However, focusing on burst damage can cause players to run out of resources such as mana much faster, or leave them without cooldowns to fall back on if things turn sour.

In PvE, dealing burst damage has a chance of drawing aggro, making it inefficient and even dangerous as a means of beating bosses in most cases. However, in some encounters, burst damage is necessary. Burst damage can be very useful when a boss will soon enrage, or when an add must be quickly destroyed.

Correctly managing burst damage is one of the most powerful techniques in PvP. It usually aims to bring an enemy down fast, giving enemy healers as little chance as possible to heal the damage inflicted. When several players focus their burst damage on a single target, the combined onslaught can be extremely difficult to survive. Players often seek to counter cooldown-enhanced burst damage through using crowd control to suspend the player from play while their cooldowns expire. Periods of burst damage are particularly effective when healers are temporarily incapacitated. Focused application of burst damage often forces players to employ defensive and/or evasive cooldowns to survive.

Dealing quick spikes of burst damage is a potent ability in PvP, due to the potential to surprise and overwhelm players. Slow and predictable damage is relatively easy for players to manage, predict and respond to, while unpredictable burst damage is capable of swiftly overwhelming opponents, and is far harder for healers to anticipate and react to in sufficient time. Players can also be easily panicked by spikes of damage, leading them to waste powerful cooldowns. This type of burst damage is of minimal benefit in PvE.

Abilities that can be used to do burst damage normally cause an unusually high DPS (for example, [ Mind Blast ] and most instant cast direct damage spells) or extraordinarly high damage (e.g. [ Pyroblast ] and [ Soul Fire ] ). Talents that allow burst damage often increase the damage caused ( [ Arcane Power ] ) or give the opportunity to cast a spell instantly ( [ Presence of Mind ] , [ Nature’s Swiftness ] ). Burst damage is primarily dealt through direct damage abilities, although it can also be achieved through a combination of damage over time and direct damage effects.

Did you know that Dota means “Defence of the Ancients”? That´s because Dota is not about killing, it´s about destroying the enemy´s Ancient (a structure in the middle of their base). However, this is not as easy as it may sound, there are creeps, structures, and obviously enemy heroes that defend their ancient. For this reason, the way you manage to move, push, and kill your enemies will also show how effective you are.

There are many types of heroes in the game that cause different types of damage, and the way some of them deal this damage can be very violent indeed. These heroes are considered “nukers”, thanks to their ability to burst their enemies in a matter of seconds. Most of them are naturally made as killing machines, but it is also the player who should know what they can do and what they can´t because in Dota there´s always a chance for everyone.

Whether you experienced play one of them or not, it is important to know these heroes and how to play with them or against them. If you are able to identify how to use one of these heroes you will make a massacre out of your enemy´s desperation. Yes, sometimes it´s annoying when it happens to you, but that´s why here I present you the top 10 Dota 2 burst damage heroes to use for your own benefit.

1. Sven

Sven, the father of burst damage

A lonely knight with the strength enough to make all your enemies disappear at once before they can do anything. Sven is a hard carry melee hero that has different abilities that will help you killing effectively. You are able to hunt solo enemies anywhere on the map, however, the best way to take advantage out of it is in team fights, being a hero that can cause damage to many objectives at the same time.

What makes Sven great for burst damage:

Cleave ability (Splash: deals damage to all nearby units with his attacks)

This hero may focus on one or several enemies at a time, however, it´s the less resistant heroes the ones that you will kill whenever you want.

High movement speed
Concussive shot: Ability that slows down enemies
Mystic Flare: ultimate ability that bursts damage in a determined area (total damage 1600)

6. Earthshaker

The earth moves

If you like to stun and annoy your enemies all the time this might be the hero for you. The Earthshaker is a melee support hero that provides you with different magical abilities that will alter radically lanes in early game stages and team fights along with the game. The greatest damage this hero can do is against all the enemies together, so being patient and knowing how to position yourself is necessary before killing everyone at once.

What makes Earthshaker great for burst damage:

Several stuns for dealing with enemies
Passive ability: Aftershock (adds additional and stuns nearby units when casting any spell)

7. Lion

This hero is quite interesting, the more you try to hit him the more damage you will receive, even if you try to avoid it. Axe is an off-laner melee hero who´s role is to face fight and block the damage from your allies. Due to this, you will be gifted with great strength and resistance, though this is not a reason not to be careful. But how do you cause damage if you are being hit? Well, thanks to Axe´s counter helix ability, you are able to deliver damage whenever someone strikes you, the more hits you receive, the more damage you cause.

What makes Axe great for burst damage:

Ability: Counter Helix: When attacked, chance to deal damage to nearby units (Damage: 180)
Ability: Berserker´s Call: Causes nearby units to hit you up to 3.2 seconds
Culling blade: Whenever an enemy is weak, you can kill him directly

9. Windranger

Killing might be hard sometimes when the enemy tries to escape, but that´s not the deal with Windranger, you cannot escape from her.
