Cclientsteamcontext onsteamserverconnectfailure logged on 0 что значит
I’m running into what appears to be some connection problems with insurgency. I was playing fine a couple months ago, nothing has changed since then.
What happens is my game freezes. I can still look around in the game, but every player has frozen in place. After about 10 seconds or so, the game times out and it says «connection to server lost».
Normally I would think this would be an issue with my connection. However, every single time, this message displays in the console:
CClientSteamContext OnSteamServerConnectFailure logged on
I’m having no connection issues with any other game, only insurgency. I can also load web pages in steam browser while I am «timing out» from the server. I can also immediately reconnect to the same server.
What is going on? This problem started happening suddenly.
All firewalls are off, and I have a stable dsl connection. I have tried repairing the local game cache.
if you use search function you will discover that you are not alone. Nevertheless, no proper solution was found :/
I fixed it! It turns out that it wasn’t insurgency disconnecting, it was steam. It turns out that my ISP’s DNS server was having issues, and it was causing steam to disconnect periodically. This DNS server was only causing issues for steam, which is why other games were working fine.
If you have this issue, here’s how I fixed it.
Download and install NameBench [code.google.com] . Namebench is free software hosted by Google that analyzes your connection and gives you the best DNS server for your area.
Install it, run it. It takes about an hour. Once done, hit the windows key, type Network and Sharing center, hit enter. Click change adapter settings (left side of your screen)
Right click your network adapter, click properties. Left click once on Internet Protocol V4, click the properties button.
Click the «Use the following DNS servers button». Paste in your shiny new dns servers that you got from name bench. Click ok.
You are done! If you have a stable internet connection, and were having the CClientSteamContext OnSteamServerConnectFailure logged on =0 error, then this should fix it.
I have the same exact thing happening to me! I can’t fix it and i am super frustrated.I got the namebench thing that you posted and i followed the steps but it didnt work. If I just open cs go and starty playing the ping is ok and i dont lag, but just a couple seconds after the ping rises and i cant do anything. If i switch windows and go back to it, it does the same thing again. Please help if anybody can. :((
I fixed mine by starting steam in TCP mode. Here’s how:
Exit Steam (Click Steam -> exit)
Navigate to your Steam installation (by default this is located at C:\Program Files\Steam)
Right-click on Steam.exe (this file is listed as an application and features the black and white Steam logo) and select Create Shortcut
Right-click on the new shortcut and go to Properties
Select the Shortcut tab
In the Target: field add -TCP after everything (make sure to separate all launch options with a space — For example, » -launchoption1 -launchoption2″)
Click Apply and then OK to close the Properties window
Open steam with this shortcut from now on. It will start in tcp mode, which should help with your connectivity problems.
This post is very old but after trying all these methods i have now been able to play a game without disconnecting.
However my ping is now over 100 whenever i play. while it was not like this before any of the problems began.
I know that i don’t have bad internet, it is just now that my steam games have began to lag while video streaming and other ‘network heavy’ tasks are easily usable with no noticeable lag.
Although this discussion is very old i hope someone who has resolved this problem could help me out.

It’s your connection. Try searching for servers in the server browser, and sort the list by low ping.
If that doesn’t yield you any sub 100 results, try removing the -tcp from steam
